India has never hosted an Olympic Game, but it surely has planned to bid for the 2032 Olympics. If all goes well, we may get an opportunity to see some of the best athletes and sportspersons of the world at our home turf. Mr. Ramachandran, Indian Olympics Association (IOA) president, said, “India’s Olympic Association has asked the government for permission to bid for the 2032 Olympics and 2030 Asian Games as part of a drive to put the country at the heart of the international sporting community.” Keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. |
